Duties and Responsibilities: Natural sciences managers typically oversee laboratory workers, though some oversee workers in the field. They also plan, coordinate, and direct research, design, and production activities to improve manufacturing and industrial processes; develop new products; and advance scientific research.

Salary: The average natural sciences manager makes $123,140 each year.

Education: Usually, experience in natural sciences is required to obtain this position. Most natural science managers begin their career as a scientist—usually as chemists, biologists, and geologists or a mathematician.


Reflection: I think I’d like to career something that has to do with science. Science has always been interesting to me. Natural Science Managers get paid a good salary which is great. It does seem something that will take a little longer to career in but I’m very sure it’s going to be worth it.
