I honestly believe you’re the winner if you lose but lost without cheating than winning with cheating.
You’re not a winner if you cheat.

Memorial Day

“Memorial Day”

What is memorial day? A day of remembrance for those who have died in service of the United States of America. Over two dozen cities and towns claim to be the birthplace of Memorial Day.

What is the purpose of memorial day? Memorial Day started as an event to honor Union soldiers, who had died during the American Civil War. It was inspired by the way people in the Southern states honored their dead. After World War I, it was extended to include all men and women, who died in any war or military action.

When is it? Memorial day is celebrated on May 25th of each year.

What are a few ways to show honor and respect on Memorial D     ay? You can honor and show respect by doing parades, volunteering, and even highlight soldiers’ stories.

This memorial day I will show respect and honor by taking a moment of silence during our celebration. I will also thank a family whom lost a loved one.
