Veterinarian

Veterinarian
Duties and responsibilities: Veterinarians work with animals. They diagnose and treat diseases and dysfunctions of animals. They sometimes even perform surgery.
Salary: Veterinarians earned a median salary of $86,640 in 2013. The best-paid veterinarians earned $149,530, while the lowest-paid earned $53,270.
Education: Would-be veterinarians must hold a bachelor's degree at a four-year college before moving on to veterinary medicine school. Undergraduate work should focus on chemistry, biology, zoology, physiology, microbiology and anatomy.

Reflection: I think it’s really fun to become a veterinarian. In order to get a job like this one, I think you must have a lot of patience and really love animals. Honestly, I think I would look into this job more because I love animals myself. You can even be one of those veterinarians who get best paid, so that is pretty cool. It’s very important that you get a job that you enjoy doing.
