oversee laboratory workers, though some oversee workers in the field. They also
plan, coordinate, and direct research, design, and production activities to
improve manufacturing and industrial processes; develop new products; and
advance scientific research.
Salary: The average natural sciences manager makes
$123,140 each year.
Education: Usually, experience in natural sciences is
required to obtain this position. Most natural science managers begin their
career as a scientist—usually as chemists, biologists, and geologists or a
mathematician.
Reflection: I think I’d like to career something that has to do
with science. Science has always been interesting to me. Natural Science
Managers get paid a good salary which is great. It does seem something that
will take a little longer to career in but I’m very sure it’s going to be worth
it.
