physicians’ office. Health information specialists organize and manage health
information data.

certificate and associate’s degree programs in health information technology
typically include courses in medical terminology, anatomy and physiology,
health data requirements and standards, classification and coding systems,
healthcare reimbursement methods, healthcare statistics, and computer systems.
Reflection:
I have seen health
information specialists before and I think it’s a good job. They never seem to
look rushed which I think is good. I think I wouldn’t mind becoming one when I’m
older. I think it’s a good job with the right salary paid.
